2015 is fast approaching and it’s unbelievable how quickly time flies! It’s that time of year again when everyone is eating large Christmas meals, preparing for their new year’s resolutions to be ‘to lose weight’ or ‘do more exercise’. In addition to those resolutions, it’s important that we also focus on making resolutions to become better people, build better relationships and think about how to help others.

So, in thinking about how to create meaningful resolutions, here are my A-Z resolutions for this year. Maybe you could join me!

A – appreciate the people in my life

B – be bold in speaking up for what I believe in

C – choose to focus on the positive

D – don’t hold a grudge

E – enjoy the little things in life

F – forgive more quickly and easily

G – give to others without expecting anything in return

H – hug people – 7 people a day!

I – impart positive values to others

J – juggle time effectively

K – keep learning

L – listen before speaking, God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason!

M – make time for people

N – never say never – you don’t know what life has in store for you!

O – open my home to welcome and show hospitality to guests

P – put my phone down when speaking to others

Q – quiet down to reflect

R – remember to count my blessings

S – say ‘I love you’ more

T – try new things

U – utilize my belongings with care

V – volunteer to help charities and those in need

W – will have willpower to not overeat!

X – eXpress emotions calmly

Y – yield to others graciously

Z – zealously face life

Wishing you a Happy New Year and every blessing for 2015!
